About

Stephanie Kang Stephanie Kang founded mySea of Dreams in 1999. It started as a portfolio website then grew into a freelance business. With the new identity, represented by the seahorse, and the redesign of the website, she is back in business ready to take it to the next level.

The Seahorse

The seahorse was created as the flash loader animation for version 02 of mySea of Dreams.com website. During that time, people who came to the website noticed it and started calling Stephanie the seahorse lady. So in a sense it came alive and she felt compelled to make it the new logo. Seahorse is a magical and wise creature of the sea. It is very unique in that they mate for life and the male gets pregnant and gives birth.
